With so many variables in which item can be recycled and which can't, we will focus on what can be recycled.
Simply choose from the list provided in our app.
These lists are comprised of materials that are actually being requested in todays market.
The list may seem small but as the market opens up to new materials, our lists will grow!
Reduce the confusion by choosing to focus on ONE material group at a time. Our system requires the separation of materials by material groups into 13 gallon transparent recycling bags. Our mobile app will help guide you.
Here are a couple of examples to help:
Plastic grocery bags (plastic film) does not belong in your regular curbside recycling program. They are a hazard to workers and destroy processing equipment. After you shop, grab a 13 gallon transparent recycling bag and place all your plastic bags and plastic packaging wrap into the bag. Make sure you remove any receipts (paper contaminate), and schedule pickup. Our drivers will take it to the proper location for plastic film recycling.
Paperboard Boxes look similar to carboard boxes but are processed differently. Paperboard are boxes made of a single layer, unlike multilayered carboard boxes. After you shop (while putting your groceries away) grab a 13 gallon recycling bag, transfer your good into a reusable storage system and pack all your paperboard into your recyclable bag for pickup! Paperboard is one of the bulkier recyclables that take up bin space! Clear it out quickly to give yourself more room for the materials that take a little longer to accumulate!

Reusable storage options like air tight storage containers and bins or glass storage systems are a great option!
Remember, think material management! We need to better management our current systems in order to make room for improvements.
Removing your grocery items and purchases from their single use packing allows you to quickly remove this recyclable material from your home!
Single use items are prone to contamination the longer we hold on to them.
Next time you shop, transfer your goods to reusable options and bag up all that paperboard and send it on to be recycled!
